Welcome to the official website of David Beauchamp. A drummer originally from New York City, now residing in London, UK. Since 2009, I have been performing with Johnny Flynn & the Sussex Wit, (Transgressive Records, London UK). Our third LP Country Mile was released in September 2013 to some critical acclaim and debuted at #28 on the UK Billboard Pop Chart.

Recently I have been touring with The Wave Pictures (Moshi Moshi Records, London, UK) on stage and in the recording studio as an auxiliary percussionist.

My other main project currently is with hot, up and coming London based Tropical Soul band, Holly Holden y Su Banda.

I have recently dep’d for Mercury Award nominated Sam Lee & Friends and for Dan Michaelson and the Coastguard in London.

And many people know me from my longstanding stint with Jeffrey Lewis & the Junkyard (Rough Trade Records, NYC) for 8 years. In that time we released 4 albums and played over 1,000 shows together on tours all over the world.

I have also performed in various capacities with: Ish Marquez, Stanley Brinks, Freschard, The R.G. Morrison, Rebecca Maze, The Bloodsugars, The Younger Sister Band, Damian Quiñones Y Su Conjunto, Adrian Freedman, Ravi, The Generous Lovers, The Bundles, Peter Stampfel, Cheese on Bread, Dufus, Toby Goodshank, Lail Arad, Nicki Swann, Brian Finke, and others.

I have added percussion to live shows for Dr. Dog and Herman Dune.
